What’s better than blackjack? Blackjack Premium, of course! Designed for the seasoned player seeking an elevated experience, take a seat with the elite at Chumba Casino’s very sophisticated Blackjack Premium.

Offering a thrilling and more strategic table experience, players challenge their luck and strategy in the beloved version of 21, where 6 decks of cards are shuffled before each round. With the dealer standing on all soft 17 hands, you’ll love helping along your chances of winning sweet prizes.

So what makes Blackjack Premium premium? Offering a “Dealer Peek”, your dealer will peek for blackjack if their up card is a 10-value card (10, Jack, Queen, King), allowing you to make better decisions about insurance and reduce the risk of surprises. With the addition of the dealer standing on soft 17, the dealer will stand on any hand that includes an ace counted as 11, giving you more outcome stability.

Game Rules

  • Blackjack Premium uses 6 decks of cards, shuffled before each round. The dealer stands on all soft 17 hands, ensuring a more predictable outcome when you strategize around that rule.
  • Players can double down on any two-card hand or after a split. You can only split one hand per round, and split aces cannot be hit.
  • A split hand, even with an ace and a face card, does not count as blackjack.

Awards

  • Blackjack awards 3:2.
  • Insurance awards 2:1, protecting your play if the dealer holds blackjack.
  • Even-money award for standard wins.

Rule Enhancements

  • Blackjack Premium comes with two major rule changes that favour players:
    • Dealer Peek: The dealer will peek for blackjack if their up card is a 10-value card (10, Jack, Queen, King). This allows you to make better decisions about insurance and reduces the risk of surprises.
    • Dealer Stands on Soft 17: Unlike other versions, the dealer will stand on any hand that includes an ace counted as 11, giving players more stability in the outcomes.

What is Peeking for Blackjack?

In Blackjack Premium, if the dealer's first card is a 10-value card, they will peek at their face-down card before you can make your move. If the dealer has blackjack, the round ends immediately, minimizing your losses or maximizing your insurance award.

  • Without Insurance: You will only lose your original play amount
  • With Insurance: You’ll receive a 2:1 award, allowing you to break even even if the dealer has blackjack.
